Description
The Honeywell THR840DEE room thermostat is used to maintain a pleasant atmosphere when you are at home and to reduce energy costs when you are away. One touch of the ECO button causes a normal temperature over-regulation to maintain a lower, economical level for a specified period of time.
It is very easy to install and use with the instructions in the user manual. It is designed to be installed in less than 15 minutes.
What is a room thermostat?
A room thermostat starts and stops the heating system, as the case may be. It works by detecting the temperature in the atmosphere, starting the heating when the temperature drops below that set on the thermostat and stopping it after the set temperature has been reached. Setting the thermostat temperature to a higher value will not cause the room to warm up faster. The heating range of the room depends on the type of heating system, eg the size of the boiler and the radiators. The setting does not affect the cooling range of the camera. Reducing the setpoint of the thermostat reduces the room temperature and saves energy.
Setting and using the room thermostat is done by identifying the lowest temperature value to ensure a pleasant atmosphere, then letting the thermostat control the temperature individually. The best way to do this is to set the room thermostat to a low value, such as 18 degrees Celsius, and then increase one degree each day until it reaches a pleasant temperature. Subsequently, no adjustment of the thermostat is required. Any adjustment beyond this value will lead to unnecessary energy consumption and will be more expensive.
